If there is one thing that I have been forced to learn over the last eight months is that flexibility is the key for you never know when carefully laid plans need to be changed or when new opportunities appear waiting for you to grasp them.
After a restless night the difficult decision was made this morning to cancel to commencement of the proposed Sister Circles that was to commence at the Morella Community Centre in March. While I am still very passionate for this venture to commence, the timing does not appear to be right at the moment. I am hoping that another opportunity to present this venture to the community will make itself available later in the year.
As one door closes, another opens. On Thursday mornings the Northern Areas Community and Youth Services in Daveron Park run a women's group called S.O.U.L.O.L. ("Supporting Our Unique Ladies of Laughter") from 9.00am to 11.30am. This meeting group is free and open to any woman in the area. On Thursday, 25 February 2016 I have been asked to present a mini workshop on "Reclaiming Your Female Power" that will include looking at the worship of the Divine Feminine from the ancient past as well as drawing inspiration from mythology.
Over the ANZAC Day long weekend in April I will be hosting two workshops in Melbourne through Muses of Mystery. "Celtic Goddesses and Warrior Queens" will be held on Saturday, 23 April 2016, and "Encountering the Dark Goddess" will be taking place on Sunday, 24 April 2016. Booking for both these workshops are essential and can be made through Muses of Mystery.
"Encountering the Dark Goddess" will also be taking place at Green Man Grove in Rosedale (just north of Adelaide) on Saturday, 7 May 2016. Bookings for this workshop are essential and can be made through Paypal.
