2014 Australian Goddess Conference

At this year's Australian Goddess Conference, to be held over the weekend of 24 to 26 October in Sydney, the theme is "The Wellspring" - a place of community gathering, exploration of wise ways, and the celebration of the receptive waters of womanhood and the moon.

It is within these receptive waters that the wisdom of the ancients, the primordial mothers, can be found.  As such, I am delighted to announce that I will be presenting a workshop at this year's Goddess Conference on two such "mothers" from the ancient lands of Mesopotamia - Tiamat (the primordial Creatrix) and Ereshkigal.

As the Goddess Conference will coincide with the Moon transitioning through its 'dark" (hidden) phase, this presents the perfect opportunity to delve within and enter our deep subconscious where these ancient Goddess often reside.

Mesopotamia was referred to as "the land between two rivers" by the ancient Greeks, and it is here that we will immerse ourselves into the watery Sumerian depths to meet the great primordial sea serpent, Tiamat, She who created the heavens and earth from Her own body. From here, we will then journey deep into the Babylonian Underworld, through the seven sacred gates to "Great Below" to meet Ereshkigal, the Goddess of Irkalla (the land of the dead or underworld) who striped Inanna to the bone in order to expose the True Self - will she do the same to you?

Further details about the 2014 Australian Goddess Conference and how you can obtain tickets can be found here.
