Sacred Goddess Circles coming to Adelaide

Since 2007, The Goddess House has been hosting devotional circles where the Divine Feminine, the Great Goddess, could be honoured through the acts of meditation, offering, song and ritual.  During this time, there has been an increasing number of requests for specific women-only circles where Goddess myth and lore, as well as aspects of feminine life ("women's mysteries") could be shared. 

 

The holding of such circles is not a new concept.  Since the beginning of time, women have gathered where they would cook together, create objects together, bleed together, laugh, cry and share stories together.  These sacred circles offered a means for friendship, emotional and spiritual support, as well as comfort and healing.

 

The Goddess House is delighted to announce that this call has been herd and that investigations are being undertaken to ensure that women across Adelaide will have access to this need that calls from our deep self with the proposed commencement of monthly Sacred Goddess Circles in 2014.
 

Once a month, Sacred Goddess Circles will offer women an opportunity to gather together where the  Goddess can be honoured through Her many guises.  Each circle will focus on a specific theme and will include the creation of a sacred space, discussion of a specifically chosen Goddess myth, meditation, chanting, and even an appropriate craft activity.

 

Women of all ages, from 17 through to 70 and beyond, are more than welcome at these Sacred Goddess Circles.  Anyone under the age of 17 wishing to attend is more than welcome to do so as long as they are accompanied by someone aged 18 years or older.  Experience is unimportant as each Sacred Goddess Circle comes with directions that are easy to follow.

During these Sacred Goddess Circles, we will delve deep into the ancient past when the Goddess was perceived as the Creatrix of all; we will recapture Her sacred threads and continue to weave into the ancient teachings that began so long ago the next generational strands of sacred womanhood in the 21st century.
